The 'Hook-Up Truck' Has Returned To The Bay Area

March 22, 2018

(Greg Earl:

Spy Emerson and her 'Hook-Up Truck' began in the Bay Area back in 2014 and quickly became a national story. You could find it often parked in Oakland or in SF's Mission District as a place to allow couples to exercise their personal and sexual freedoms. A few years after the initial fanfare the 'Hook-Up Truck' has returned.

With a residency at Albany's Ivy Room, you can find the truck on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. On Monday, March 26, $5 will get you in the building for a special stage show called "Happy Forever: Pagan Matchmaker" hosted by truck creator, Spy Emerson. Details on that here

The show stars Emerson as a pagan matchmaker who employs sexual energy, harvested by the truck, to heal the world.

The truck will also be parked outside and can be rented during the show from 6 - 8 PM.
