Thursday was Gerard Way's birthday. Being the rad dude he is though, he gave us a present. He helped his friend Sara Taylor from Youth Code put together a killer collection of coloring pages called, The Quarantine Coloring Book.

There have been many articles written about how coloring can help reduce stress and anxiety. If there was ever a time we needed some stress relief, this would be it. Most adult coloring books are pictures of flowers and pretty paisley patterns though. For The Quarantine Coloring Book, they teamed up with a bunch of really awesome artists to bring us some quirky, cool pages to color. All of the art is donated and the coloring pages are totally free.

The idea was to entertain people stuck at home or to give those who can't stay at home a way to take their minds off the insanity that is life right now.

"What we did is ask a bunch of artists we are close with to generously donate a coloring page to the project. The idea is to keep it going as long as we can. So far we have a bunch of really cool art by really cool artists. And we are still actively reaching out to people," The My Chemical Romance frontman shared. "We can’t wait to see all of your finished coloring pieces, and hope this provides you with even a small sense of distraction of relief in these uncertain times."

You can check out the collection at thequarantinecoloringbook.com.
