Nightlife is back!

The weekly Thursday night event has hosted some of the best and hottest up-and-coming bands already, and in the 2015 summer season, Cal Academy will team up with some of the city’s biggest music events to bring you some amazing acts.

Thanks to partnerships with Noise Pop, Outside Lands, Treasure Island Music Fest and more, this season will host local acts like The Dodos and Hot Flash Heat Wave, alongside buzzy ones like Alvvays and Hundred Waters.

This series, held once a month and called Nightlife LIVE, will (like usual) be held on Thursday nights and will turn one of the most fun museums in San Francisco into one of the most interesting music venues.

“Experience interactive art installations, out-of-this-world video projections, science side shows, and more,” their Facebook event page reads, “all while exploring cutting-edge exhibits and marveling at 38,000 live animals.”

This series is 21+ and begins on May 14 and will run until October 15, 2015. See the full monthly lineup below. Head here for more details.
