East Bay punk rockers Green Day played a secret show in New York City the other night where the band showcased some new tunes from their up incoming record!The secret show, which was filmed for a documentary about the band’s new record. Green Day kicked off their set in New York playing only new material for the first half of the performance. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, the show was announce the morning of, October 28th, at Webster Hall, which can only hold about 300 people.
Rolling Stone also described the new Green Day tracks as, “Stadium ready”. Some of the new song titles are, “Wow, That’s Loud”, “Make Out Party”, “Let Yourself Go”, “Oh Love”, and “Carpe Diem”.
After the East Bay punkers rocked new music and cover songs for over an hour, Green Day took a short break and came back out and played another set with their hits and fan favorites. To top it all off, tickets to the show were sold for only $20!!!
