If you’re into rocking out, day 2 of Outside Lands was definitely for you. The sun beat down over San Francisco much to the delight of festival goers who expected the city’s trademark foggy conditions. Bands like OK Go, The Black Keys, The Roots, Muse and tons more rocked on four different stages in the middle of Golden Gate Park. LIVE 105 was there to capture all the action!

If day one of Outside Lands was for jamming, then day two was definitely tailored for those of like to rock. The guitar had a heavy presence thanks to OK Go, The Black Keys and Muse.

[photogallerylink id=72835 align=left]How can you not love OK Go? Some might take them for merely a novelty act but these guys proved that they’re much more than that. Their flavor of catchy rock-pop tunes could lighten up anyone’s mood. Clad in bright, multi-colored suits the foursome ripped through their treadmill-hit “Here It Goes Again” and a slew of other ridiculously addictive tracks.

[photogallerylink id=72929 align=right]The Black Keys brought their unique flavor of soulful blues-rock to the OSL main stage. The Ohio-based duo ripped and roared through crowd favorites like “Tighten Up,” “Howlin’ For You,” from their high acclaimed album Brothers. There’s no doubt that Dan Auerhach and Patrick Carney know how to deliver a gritty and commanding performance.

[photogallerylink id=72933 align=left]Muse electrified the main stage with an epic set that spanned their 5 album catalogue. From “Time Is Running Out” to “The Resistance,” the band’s performance was arena rock at it’s finest. LIVE 105’s very own Aaron Axelsen sat down with the band backstage before their headlining set for an exclusive interview. The band revealed details about their side projects, going back into the studio this year, their deep love for Rage Against The Machine and playing against Coldplay at Lollapalooza in Chicago this year.
