  1. KennyM says:

OH MY GOD THE GREATEST LINEUP EVER

I AM GOING TO DIE WHEN THE STROKES COME ON
And then Snoop Dogg will blow my head off of my unconscious body.

    1. Troll says:

You realize that if you die you’re not just unconscious?

      1. Gstauss says:

Shut up, Troll. That shit was funny

  2. Greg says:

    Finish Ticket….Go see them Live!!!!

  3. RudeFrank says:

THEM RUDE BOYZ are an amazing local band!

  4. Ana A. says:

Great lineup! I wish I could go čśÉ

  5. James says:

You know what would make this lineup more than perfection? Adding the Shins to the lineup.

    1. Charlie Cokes says:

I’m seeing The Shins live at Outside lands aha

      1. Steph says:

Hell yeah! Me too. Can’t wait. This line up is fucking awesome. I was bummed to not be able to see The Strokes but now I can and this shit is gong down!

  6. DanielleRene says:

    CAN’T WAIT!

  7. getthepaper says:

I am totally stoked to see the Strokes and I am as stoked that local band Finish Ticket has made the BFD lineup!!!

  8. David says:

OMFG! AWESOME! WISH THEY DIDN’T PLAN IT FOR SAME WEEK AS U2 AND DEATHCAB THOUGH.

  9. Haley says:

Everyone should go see Biffy Clyro!

    1. Oscar Wilde says:

No question as to which is THE band everyone needs to see at this year’s BFD: Biffy Clyro. They should be on the main stage.

  10. Jake says:

Weakest line-up I’ve ever. Bad Religion is the only band worth a crap on this bill. Come on Live105… get it together.

    1. Jackie says:

So True! Come on now! BFD just keeps getting weaker and weaker.

      1. Stephanie says:

Thank you! Glad to see people who have gone to the past ones see this BFD for what it really is. SO weak compared to even 2009s…I though 2010 was bad but common..Only bands I would like to see are the Strokes and Cage, and Bad religion ..all I have already seen though.

    2. KennyM says:

Are you kidding? If the Strokes and Rebecca Black were the only artists playing, this would still be an awesome lineup.

      1. Daniel says:

Yea, The Strokes and Cage the Elephant kick ass

      2. Mike says:

        HAHAHAHA

    3. darren says:

      well said!

    4. Live 105's 80s/90s Faded Glory says:

It’s not easy pleasing the corporate executives AND sincere music listeners. Corporate profit motive loves lowest common denominators. Good bands are few and far between.

Listening to various 2011 BFD bands online today for the first time, it’s surprising how derivative most of these bands are. There’s nothing wrong with having influences, but without imparting some emotion into it (as Nirvana, The Strokes, Bad Religion, etc. have done), we’re left with tiring exercises in plagiarism. It’s OK for the youngest among us who may not be aware of the originals, but for the more well-informed it’s simply a disappointing bore.

  11. Ricardo L says:

    V.I.P!? how much!?

  12. Brian says:

you guys could have done a lot better…

    1. Stephanie says:

      better then what?

  13. chris says:

      cant wait

    2. aydhen says:

      omg go linkin park!!!

    3. Charlie Cokes says:

Lincoln Park were shi* live when i saw them

      1. Daisy says:

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT LINKIN PARK IS AMAZING LIVE…. DUMB ASS

    4. Charlie Cokes says:

Linkin Park are terrible live, I saw them at the HP pavilion with The Prodigy. The Prodigy were 10 times better even though Linkin Park were the main band playing

      1. Anne says:

Wow. I am the opposite. The Prodigy had a poor performance, and Linkin Park rocked so hard I tranced. Can’t wait for this performance. Also looking forward to all these bands that are totally new to me (OK, must get out more…)

      2. Daisy says:

        STUPID…… WHAT ARE YOU ON?

  14. Oreo says:

this lineup is pretty damn amazing

  15. j.l. says:

oh yeah linkin park baby back in the bay!

  18. Mollie says:

So stoked to see Linkin Park and Snoop Dogg..it’s gonna be awesome!!

  19. Stephanie says:

On a Sunday again???? Really! Just goes to show that since No Name started the station is going downhill…I was really hoping the switch last year was a temporary thing so I took Monday off. People usually have to work Mondays and I really don’t see why they wouldn’t stick to Saturday. Lineup is pretty week though so well see…this may be the first time in 6 years I don’t attend.

    1. noname says:

hey steph – i started here in 1998 – so i guess its been a long slide! ha! you’ll be missed at this years party!

      1. Stephanie says:

Alright, sorry for the mistake….but why is BFD on Sunday now?

    2. blahaha says:

    3. TravNasty says:

No Name does nothing but make the station fucking better. NO NAME is GOD.

  20. Dizzle says:

Coachella, you can suck your $300 fees. Most of the bands I wanted to see there are playing at BFD now. Thanks 105!

    1. Cristina says:

      DITTO

  21. KennyM says:

Are the Freeloader presale tickets $10.53 as well?

  22. Rather Red says:

  23. Sarah says:

  42. gusti rohwan says:

kami sudah tidak sabar lagi menunggu tanggal 5 juni……

  43. Molly says:

How does this work? Won’t we miss bands while trying to watch the others? I’ve never been to BFD before so I don’t understand the whole different stage thing. If I want to watch Bad Religion play does that mean I’ll have to miss The Tenderlions because they’re at a different stage? And what about people who pay more $$$ for seats? What happens?

Or are we given time to switch to different stages?

    1. mindy says:

      Molly,
There are four stages, with some overlapping set times, as you’d find at many other music festivals. This means that you’ll have to pick and choose the bands you want to see most, or decide to see the part of one band’s set and the second half of another’s. It tends to work out well, since there are so many bands to check out. You’ll definitely get to hear lots of music! The festival stage should wrap up in time for you to see all of the bands on the main stage. The seats are for the main stage, which features Linkin Park, Snoop Dogg, Cage the Elephant, and The Strokes.

    2. JustinB says:

The people who pay extra for seats just sit closer to the stage than those who bought lawn tickets do – they can come and go to and from the mainstage as they please. There are no seats for any of the other stages.

Subsonic tent will run all day, but the mainstage acts never overlap with the festival stage and the local band stage usually wraps up right before or right after mainstage acts start.

So basically for the first part of the day you’ll be able to choose between Local Band Stage, Subsonic Tent, and Festival Stage, and for the second part of the day you’ll be able to choose between Subsonic Tent and mainstage.
